Fortnite leak claims Matrix crossover coming in Chapter 3
Fortnite is no stranger to a crossover, and according to a new leak, The Matrix is the next franchise to come to the battle royale.

Fortnite and crossovers with popular media franchises go hand in hand, from films to television series. According to a well know Fortnite leaker, Neo and Trinity from the Matrix movies could be landing on the island very soon.
While its innovations on battle royale gameplay are what put Fortnite on the map, it's the big-name crossovers that have helped secure its place as a gaming icon.
From an entire Marvel-themed season to the more recent Naruto and Dune skins, it seems that no property is safe from being given the Fortnite treatment.
Now, with Season 8 drawing to a close and Chapter 3 on the horizon, another crossover is on the cards. This time, according to a known Fortnite leaker, Neo and Trinity from the Matrix film series are joining the party.
In a post they uploaded to Twitter, Hypex claimed that Fortnite will be crossing over with the popular sci-fi in the second half of December.
They said that the main characters Neo and Trinity, played by Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss respectively, will both receive their own skins.

Given the fourth Matrix movie – The Matrix Resurrections – is hitting theatres on December 18, 2021, it does seem to be the ideal time for the skins to arrive.
Unfortunately, the leaker didn't go into specifics about any Back Bling or Gliders that may accompany the two Matrix skins.
This would mark the second time Keanu Reeves has appeared in Fortnite after the official John Wick skin was introduced back in Season 9 of Chapter 1. Although, the Reaper skin from Battle Pass Season 3 was based on the action hero.
Of course, Epic have yet to confirm this leak, so for the time being take it with a pinch of salt.

But, if it turns out to be true, it would make for a stacked December alongside the release of Chapter 3 and the rumored Spider-Man skin.

Fortnite Season 8 features various wacky NPCs you can visit around the island, so here are all of the Fortnite NPC locations for whenever you might need to find these characters.
Along with the beginning of Fortnite Season 8 came the introduction of several new NPCs, such as Carnage and Fabio Sparklemane. Since then, we've seen the arrival of more characters like Kakashi from Naruto.
Some of these can be found around the island, and by spending Gold Bars, these NPCs can reveal future Storm Circles, give you a Rift, and some are even necessary to complete the Character Punchcard Quests.
Here's every Fortnite Season 8 NPC and their location on the updated map.
All Fortnite Season 8 NPC locations
Thanks to the website Fortnite.GG, we've got the Fortnite NPC locations discovered in Season 8 so far. Fortnite.GG has also marked each character to tell you if they'll reveal the future storm circle or turn you into a Prop for the right price.

Here are the detailed locations of each Fortnite Season 8 NPC:
- Baba Yaga: In the shack to the south-west of Sludgy Swamp
- Fabio Sparklemane: In the Apres Ski building south-west of Misty Meadows
- Dark Jonesy: In the main building of Steamy Stacks (sells Rift)
- Kor: On the east end of Misty Meadows
- Dusk: On the hill directly west of Lazy Lake (turns you into a Prop)
- Torin: North-east side of The Aftermath (reveals Future Storm Circle)
- Kitbash: In the container area at the east end of Dirty Docks
- Madcap: In the barn to the east of Corny Crops
- Penny: West side of Retail Row
- Pitstop: North-east corner of Boney Burbs (reveals Future Storm Circle)
- Charlotte: South-east house of Pleasant Park
- Scuba Jonesy: West of Coral Castle
- J.B Chimpanski: In the Weather Station south of Catty Corner (reveals Future Storm Circle)
- Toona Fish: In the Viking Vessel west of Holly Hedges
- The Brat: At the Food Truck north of Lazy Lake
- Wrath: Inside the remains of Stealthy Stronghold (reveals Future Storm Circle)
- Grim Fable: West side of Weeping Woods
- Big Mouth: Pizza Pit north-east of Corny Crops
- Cube Assassin: Inside Sideways encounters
- Raven: Inside Hydro 16 (sells Rift)
- Nighthare: At FN Radio, east of Craggy Cliffs (sells Rift)
- Dire: South building in Camp Cod
- Ragsy: In Risky Reels
- Ariana Grande: On the pier in Beliver Beach
- Ember: Hill north-west of Corny Crops
- Sledgehammer: South of the wreckage, north-east of Holly Hedges
- Shadow Ops: Souther building in Lazy Lake
- Kakashi: On a hill north of Misty Meadows
- Rust-Lord: Compact Cars just west of Dirty Docks.
The Cube Assassin NPC can only be found inside Sideways encounters, so you'll need to head to the dark rifts on the map and battle them. Once that's done, you can get Cube Monster parts from them.
These NPCs are guaranteed to spawn in every match of Fortnite, so you should have no trouble finding the Fortnite NPC locations. However, NPCs are known to move around, so we'll update you if they are found in any more locations.

B.R.U.T.E Mechs are back on the map in Fortnite Season 8, albeit in a slightly nerfed 'Salvaged' form compared to the older versions. Here's how you can hold of a Mech and rocket your way to victory.
Fortnite Season 8 is gearing up for its big finale before Chapter 3 starts, but that hasn't stopped the updates and fresh content from coming.
The recent 18.40 patch finally brought Naruto to the island and brought back the trusty Shopping Cart from Chapter 1.
The biggest change, however, is the return of the B.R.U.T.E Mechs that terrorized the map back in Season X. Here's how to get hold one in-game.
How to get a Salvaged Mech in Fortnite Season 8
Whereas in Chapter X Mechs would randomly drop across the map, in Season 8 they work much differently. This time, they only spawn at specific Donation Boards that have had their goals met.

These crowdfunding stations are similar to the Voting Boards that Epic introduced recently, only they ask for a donation of 50 Gold Bars rather than a vote between two items.
B.R.U.T.E Mechs Donation Board locations
At the time of writing, there are two known boards on the map but only the one on the south side of Pleasant Park has been fully funded. The Mech now spawns at the beginning of each match, so expect a fight to get your hands on it.
The other Donation Board can be found near Corny Crops, roughly on the "P" as you look at the map.
As we mentioned earlier, the B.R.U.T.E Mechs have been nerfed slightly from Chapter X. The shield that used to protect the player in the cockpit is no longer active, leaving them far more exposed.

Even still, their enormous size and ferocious rockets make them a force to be reckoned with.
